“Sunday Is Basketball Day”: Sign up to participate in the 2026 Cambodia Junior Basketball Competition (CJBC).

A total of 96 player positions (8 teams) are available per age division.

All registered players will be placed onto a team and guaranteed participation in the season.

Season Start: 13-week competition schedule (see full fixture list below)

Divisions: 8 teams per division

Competition Format:
• 7 regular season games
• 2 finals rounds

Key Dates:
• Pilot Season Early Access: 18 February 2026
• General Registrations Open: 25 February 2026

Season Package:
• Standard Fee: $320 per player
Includes FREE Rigorer basketball

Payment Plan Option:
• $80 initial payment
• $80 instalments due 15 March, 15 April, and 15 May
(Total $320 – discounts not applicable to instalment plans)

CJBC runs a free shuttle service for all registered players between All Star Complex and Playground Sen Sok. Please ensure you are part of the group chat and confirm you will be requiring a shuttle prior to Sunday.

Annual CJBC Schedule

  • Season 1 – March 2026 to June 2026
  • Season 2 – June 2026 to October 2026
  • Season 3 – October 2026 to January 2027

 

Notes

  • Players who qualify for the International Trip Prize will receive covered flights/transportation, accommodation, and meals for the duration of the official program.

  • Any additional personal expenses, including but not limited to spending money, optional activities, travel insurance, passport fees, or visa-related costs (unless otherwise stated), will be the responsibility of the player.

  • Eligible players must meet and maintain the minimum training attendance and performance standards as set by SEAJBL. Failure to meet these standards may result in forfeiture of eligibility.

  • A minimum of 56 registered players within the respective age division is required for the International Trip Prize to be activated. If this threshold is not met, SEAJBL reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize.

  • SEAJBL reserves the right to select and/or add additional players to the travelling squad based on performance, development needs, team balance, and overall program objectives.

FAQs for Players & Teams

 

  • How many games will my team be guaranteed to play?
    • All teams are guaranteed to be schedule 4 games to play for this season.
  • What is the maximum number of players permitted on a team?
    • Each team is permitted to have up to 12 registered players.
  • What is the cut off DOB for my players to be on a team? 
    • Players must be at or under the designated age for their division as of 1 January 2026.

  • How many games does a player have to play to qualify for finals?

    • Players must play a minimum of 2 games prior to qualify for finals.

  • What are Elite Team Sessions (ETS)?
    • ETS is designed to provide players a structured and high level understanding of the game including offense, defense and team concept for the full court 5v5 game. Players within the CJBC that attend ETS are then able to practice and refine these skills during their weekly competition games [learn more]
  • Do I have to attend ETS?
    • No, you don’t but it’s included in your package. If you don’t attend you will likely not understand how to successfully play basketball with your team mates and your coach may reduce your playing minutes accordingly.
  • What are the weekly prizes?
    • As part of our sponsorship with Rigorer.online we will have a bunch of basketball goodies to give away each week which at ETS.
  • How long are the games?
    • Each game is 4x 10 minutes quarters. More information on time can be found [here]
  • What if I cannot play a game?
    • It would be courteous to inform your coach prior, and with as much notice as possible, that you are unable to play any scheduled game.
  • What do I win at the end of the CJBC pilot season? 
    • There are medals for the finalists at the end of the season.
  • What are the rules I have to follow to play?

  • What is the prize to South Korea?
    • Pilot season players will be eligible to automatically play in CJBC Season 1 which runs from April to May 2026. The currently prize allocation for the winning 18U team in Season 1 is a trip to South Korea in July 2026, to play in an international basketball tournament, which includes flights, accommodation, transportation and meals. Age eligibility criteria will apply based on the tournament rules.
